Without realizing it, we carry all of that inside, forgetting that peace doesn\u2019t depend on what\u2019s happening outside.<\/p>\n<p>The truth is simple and liberating: <b>Peace is a choice, a practice, and a memory<\/b>.<br \/>When you choose peace, you don't just transform your own life\u2026 you also bring light to those around you.<\/p>\n<h2>Why is September special?<br \/>\n<\/h2>\n<p>The beginning of every month is an opportunity, but September carries with it a profound symbolism: a call to <b>Restart, clear out, and get back to the basics<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>Now is the perfect time to remember that you are not alone on this journey, that thousands of people around the world can join you in choosing peace, right here and now.<\/p>\n<p>Every expansive thought, every mindful breath, and every word of gratitude multiplies when we share them as a community. That is the true power of coming together: discovering that there is always a way back home.<\/p>\n<h2>An experience that left a lasting impression on me<br \/>\n<\/h2>\n<p>I've had many experiences that confirm the power of opening ourselves up to others beyond our differences.<\/p>\n<p>In Chile, a Palestinian boy confessed to me that he didn't want to come to my class because when he saw my Jewish last name, he thought: <i>\u201cWhat can she teach me?\u201d<\/i>. He even told me that he didn't agree with anything I had shared.<\/p>\n<p>I listened to him carefully and, to his surprise, told him I agreed with everything he had said. I just asked him to keep an open mind, because perhaps we were talking about the same thing but using different names. He decided to stay, and his openness was so great that at the end of the seminar he gave me a big hug and shouted, \u201cThis is peace in the Middle East!\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Once in Bristol, UK, the Ho\u2019oponopono seminar concluded with a comparison between Ho\u2019oponopono, the Quran, and the Bible. We had a great time realizing how the core teachings of all religions actually said the same thing.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>How are you?
